0:00 Turn your saved model into studio photos and a rotating product video. In this tutorial, we will choose a finish, set the viewing direction, and render this three-witch bust in Printara.
0:12 Start with a saved model in your Library. If it has PBR textures, you can keep its original colors. An untextured model works too: simply choose a material for the render.
0:24 Click Render in the toolbar below the model, next to AI Photo. Render creates an image from your actual 3D geometry, rather than reimagining its shape.
0:34 Choose Photo for a still image, or 360-degree video for a turntable animation. The render button shows the credit cost for your selected output.
0:45 Next, choose Standard or Premium. Compare the resolution shown under each option, and check the updated credit cost before starting. We will use Standard for this first photo.
0:56 Keep Original textures, or pick a different finish: resin, metal, wood, or terracotta. These tiles are material samples. Your own model is what gets rendered. For our first image, choose Terracotta.
1:12 Leave the starting view on Current viewer direction, then click Render photo. Printara processes the job on its servers and adds the finished image to your marketing gallery. We have shortened the wait here.
1:24 Open the completed image from the gallery. Notice the faces, books, brooms, and pedestal. The surface finish has changed, but the model's shape and details are preserved.
1:37 Want a different angle? Close the preview and rotate the model in the viewer. Reopen Render with Current viewer direction selected. It uses that viewing direction, with the studio's lighting and camera height.
1:50 Now choose Walnut and render another photo. Changing the render material does not change your saved model or its print files. It gives you another way to present the same piece.
2:01 Here is the walnut result from the side. You can compare finishes and build a set of product views without remodeling the object.
2:10 For a rotating presentation, select 360-degree video. Choose Original textures to keep the model's colors, then select your quality. Review the settings and the displayed price before requesting the video.
2:23 Here is a completed example. The turntable reveals the back and the depth of the sculpture, while keeping its original colors and textures.
2:33 That is the workflow: open your model, choose the output, material, and viewing direction, then render. Create clear product photos and rotating previews, directly in Printara.
Render creates an image from your actual 3D geometry rather than reimagining its shape, so the model's shape and details are preserved. AI Photo is a separate option next to it.
